Horizon 2020 is the EU’s Research and Innovation programme, with €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). Horizon 2020 aims to support implementation of the Innovation Union and places emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges.Under the headline “health, demographic change and wellbeing”, Horizon 2020 aims to support “better health for all”.
